Hey, Im just now downloading Zbrush. My sn mite have hinted that i work on a low budget, and the hint is true. I have a couple ?s about Zbrush:

Will it kill my celeron 566 processor computor? i looked at the pics that you all have been making, and it looks like it requires a lot of computing power.

Is Zbrush more of a CAD studio or a... something else

Obviously, the faster your processor and the more RAM you have, the more smoothly you will be able to work, and with larger canvas sizes. However, your processor speed is within the recommended specs. :)

Since you are clearly looking to work with games, which use as few polygons as they can get away with, you will have the advantage of not having to deal with the monster canvas sizes, etc. So that will help you out a lot!

ZBrush's modeling method is very intuitive -- very much like working with clay. You should have a lot of fun!

I have a Cyrix 166+Windows 95+ 32 Meg Ram
It's entierly operational !!!
Just 80 free mega on hard Disc neccessary
Zbrush is Magic ! The biggest Budget/pleasure with the demo version :)

When people ask me what kind of soft is zbrush, i answer that zb is what photoshop will be in 5 years :)

Welcome and I run a PentuimII 500meg with 512 of ram and it works fine.
