hey guys.

i'm interested in buying zbrush and would like to ask some questions before submitting my order ;)

lets say i import my base mesh into zbrush ... for example an arm.
this arm has a radius of 2 (inches or whatever)

now when painting onto this mesh i'm using the push brush instead of the pull brush ..
so at the end the radius of the arm is below 2.
now i export the displacement map of this mesh into my base application ... how does it look like.
i mean there is no negative displacement, is it?

also what about the navigation controls in v2?
do i still have to click outside the model to rotate and "alt - klick - release alt" to zoom or is it customizable?
i'm asking because i'm curious how you are able to rotate when you zoomed so close to the object that there is no free space around it to click in.

cheers chris

I don't know about the first question.

For the second, that is still the way to zoom the model, but you can set ZB to rotate around the last edited part of your model so there is no problem with rotating (local transform; this was even available in 1.55b). Z2 also has a 'set pivot point' that works well with the partial visibility functions.
