Im working on this project from the beginning of the month, even the idea of it didnt come by easly.
It is my work for the 3d passion contest done with zbrush demo1.23b,
it is a space ship or a shuttle with a special design ,the front of it looks like a face , the mouth and ears are air entrances
and the eyes are projectors, the forehead is the ****pit. At the back, 3 strong engines (sucking air from mouth and ears) help this spaceship fly at very fast speed.
thogh.. this ship had an accident and got a meteor smash on it during flight.
the landing on a tropical and mysteries planet gave her the parasite. but the parasite was also a bless. it closed the hole in the ship and enabled it to fly again.
(im sorry for the bad english ..again)
and ask for advice..what should i add remove next....
ive tried to do meteors at the background but it didnt looked ok so i just add more wierd clouds...should i add more?
remove some of the red fog?
121 are welcome

Looks nice, Hydra. :)

I think some more clouds would work nicely. Maybe blur the horizen a little, or cover it with some distant mountains?

i definitely would do what Muvlo suggested... and try to change the material of the ****pit - thats reflected map mat, right? i think it doesnt work in this pic too good, as the sky isnt blue. in case you have the background on layer(s) of its own, i would deactivate the layer with the faceship :) and use the mrgbz-grabber to grab a texture of the background only. then i would reactivate the ships layer, go to material>modifiers and replace the arizona desert texture in S1 with the just grabbed texture. in case it isnt reflected map but another material with increased reflection i would do the same with the default desertmap in its modifiers.

great idea + planetscape, btw! :tu: :tu: :tu:

Hi...well ive tried your advice,
ive took the fog off and tried to play a bit with the ****pit material as Jaundel said..it looks very wierd thogh.
Ive also add some distance mountains that looks preety good and changed the glow meterial to fit my needs better.
I will add some more clouds and probebly enother space ship at a distance.
any more seggestions\replys?

Muvlo gave you the advice I would...take the blur brush to the horizon area a bit..the blur will give it a bit more depth...nice work so far..very imaginative :tu: :tu:
