Hi Kathy,

Nice image composition. Did you try to activate Shadows? I think the image needs softening with subtle light and shadows.

Make sure that at least on of your `sun` lights has `shadow` selected and increase the intensity and the length.

Then activate shadows in the render panel.

You will know it`s worked if the ants cast a shadow on the wood.

If you don`t understand any of the above let me know and I will do a step by step.
