wow, what can I say? looks great! it's coming along nicely.
but as a newbie still learning about zspheres n' such, can I ask you a few questions about how you made what you have so far?
First, how'd you make the spaces/cuts in the mesh for where the eyes are. Second,(i hope i can communicate this right) the in "mouth to cheek" area, that build up of skin that you get(ya know, like, when you smile)is so great...it's goes from that mouth area to the hump of cheek so good, how do you get that? ...and lastly, did you start off with zspheres? ...sorry if i'm a little imposing in asking the questions, it's just that i'm a little newbie trying to soak up knowledge
Great work though!

He's too happy. Make him depressed and full of gloom! :)
Maybe a hatchet in the head will do.
In any event, that's beautiful modeling.
The ears are particualarly well made. :)
Wow, great model :tu: :tu:

I have been trying to figure out eyelids. I know how to create sockets. How did you do the eyelids? Was it pulled out of of the socket or zsphered?
thanks.

you're right Sami. I used the same model and created it in Maya.
Here is a snapshot of the wireframe model, and and slightly different version of the final model.
Up to me, you can achieve almost the same thing using zspheres and edgeloops in Zbrush.
To create such eyesockets, just delete the right faces.
