The beings of this far off world live one with nature. There are no machines, no roads, no industry. They grow what they need, be it a computer or a house to live in.

Very cool, Digits! The sky really rocks -- the smoke and pyrotechnic effects are spectacular. The whole image is very imaginative.

Thank you all for the comments. I must confess the sky is a bryce sky that I started with using as a horizon reference but the colors turned out to be just perfect to complement the rest of the image so I kept it. I did also like the way the fog interacted with it in a way I didn't expect.

I really like this world, I am planning to see what kindof computers and transportion the natives actually use.

Wowee, very nice. Where's the front door? I really like the braided tentacles with the segmented ends. Is this Widgetry? And once again you show how good you are with colors

Hi Zoid

Thanks for noticing

Yes, alot of widgetry. The roots using my interpolation script, the Spiral at the top using my Spiral script. The terrain a combination of my Depth Stroke script and EZ's Terrain utility. The helix doodads were randomly generated using an idea WingedOne did for his random gear generator.

Also about the door, since the technology of this world is all organic and a symbiosis with the natural world, whenever the inhabitants need to come and go they just think a door and it appears out of the living tissue. Same for windows etc.. the living materials just adjust thier opagueness to suit the weather.

I love the whole thing--but the background and sky jumped out at me too--when I first looked at it--a wild world you weave when first you ZBrush conceive :D :tu: :tu: :tu:

EXTREMELY well coughed, Floyd! :D what a beauty! apart from the Haeckel-like-approach (http://caliban.mpiz-koeln.mpg.de/~stueber/haeckel/kunstformen/natur.html) of architecture i love those terrace-like formations in the middle background the best... a beauty you coughed up here!!!
