Hello all, I´m modeling the Hindu God Kali, a Woman with 4 arms that killed the beast in Hindu history. I have some questions, if someome could help (it´s noob question i know):

How could i delet a zsphere allready put on my model?
How my adaptative skin of zsphere looks so crazy everytime? (allready tried a lot of configuration)

Yeah i´m modeling it for a couple hours. Having troubles with foot and hands

I think a view of your zsphere model would be helpful here. Maybe as a scaled down jpg, eh? Irfanview is free and is handy for resizing pictures. Anyway, on the adaptive skin menu under the <Tool> menu try the minimal skin to parent and minimal skin to child modifiers to minimize webbing between the arms, if that is what you are referring to as a problem. And if you alt-click on a zsphere in draw mode it deletes the zsphere.

Is this normal? I tried a lot of configs and the only one i get fingers was that... but i get weird polys in middle of hand...

heh, it's funny cause it's exactly the sort of thing that happens to me with zspheres so I never use them... I think they require a lot more concepts then you'd expect... maybe run through all the tutorials about them multiple times... for me I'm fine just making low res models in other progs

Yeah i could do the low res in other app, but i think it´s not necessary, and with zspheres i could easy pose my model in zbrush. So i´m trying to get it works... if anyone knows the way pls help :P

try this....create a zsphere, enter edit mode, then in....i think the transform palette there are sliders to change resolution of a zsphere...change it to say 3 across the board ..add a new zsphere, go back and change the rez to 1 and do the fingers and thumbs.....so that all digits are created on the one high rez sphere...they should all fit no problem.

Okey, many thanks, i´ll try this. And one another question... (i know i ask to much) but it´s simple... Anyone knows if i could copy a zsphere model part and past ? Let i explain better. My model have 4 arms so i could model one arm copy and past it to the model?

Hello again... thanks for the help, thats was the best zsphere setup for a hand that i could do.. very better than the last one (and easy to post model in adaptative)

Here is some shoots

But i have the same question before. I could copy that geometry (of hand) and past in the other 3 arms left?

I modeled the hand only to test geometry (i´ll lost the adaptative, cause i dont finished the zsphere model...) and will post here to you all see :). I only really near finished modeling first finger (indicator finger)

looks like you got the hand just about figured out.

now for your other question....if your model is still a sphere there is a way to add a tool to a zsphere....you need to watch the zscripts on zspheres for ideas....keeping in mind (am not 100% sure on this but...) that you might lose any sculpting you have done by adding something to it and would have to start over.

You could use multimarkers once you finish your model and add extra arms that way.....see also the included zscripts for ideas there and to decide which would be the best way to go for you.

those are the only two I can think of at the moment.
