does Zbrush support standard units like inches and milimiters? I work mostly in mm to design products. I've been looking at Zbrush with interest but I need a modeling app. that can bring thigs from the CAD world at the same size and position that I'm working with.
3DS MAx does this really well, but looking at the modeling workflow of Zbrush, it looks to me this is a much better/faster modeling app. If I can only get this unit thing to work.
Thanks,
Gustavo

The unit size is pixels, or pixols ;)
No real world units, but don't let that stop you. you'll need a second app to convert the units, unless you know how to convert OBJ files, which are plain text. ZBrush is too powerful to ignore, real units or not.
If you understand zbrush, and 3d in general, it makes more sense why zbrush doesn't use real units, and something like 3ds-max doesn't support pixels as units.
In ZB you have a 2d canvas with depth and more, in max you have objects in 3d space.

Its more a thing of working with proportions-
or model your base object in C4D bring it into ZB for detailing!
Or even better, use ZB from the begining and adjust the object size on the import back into C4D-
One thing ZB does well is communicate with C4D with obj-
You can model an object in C4D - orient it how you like- then export it out of cinema as obj- read this into ZB- change it, rotate it, scale it, whatever you like.
Export it back out at obj-
Cinema will bring this obj back in at the same orientation/scale that you exported it out when leaving C4D-
C4D-ZB obj workflow rocks!
