Everyone meet Baby "No-Wings" the Dragon. He's a happy little 1.23 ZSphere kid. Okay, so he's not made of ZSpheres :p. "No-Wings" is made from a single sphere like most of the 1.23 goodies. He's not the best model either. (Aww, poor baby :p ) Oh well, I just couldn't wait any longer for those glorious ZSpheres, so I came up with a way to sort of fake it. The process involved using the scale transformation mode while editing the sphere. I pulled out a part of the dragon, and then used scale to add a little "bulb" at the end by enlarging it. Then I pulled that "bulb" and continued. It worked out okay, and now I have a cute little baby. Watch out, he bites. Just look at those teeth ... Well, faking ZSpheres will just have to suffice until I get my little paws on 1.5.

Hope this helps in your waiting. And if somebody already came up with this idea, oops... Sorry, I don't mean to take it. Well, I'm going to make "No-Wings" a poser figure later. For now, he will do the ZBrush 1.5 Anticipation Dance. Enjoy :p

Wait a second... Aww, that little guy’s shaking his "groove thang" so much, I think he lost some tail spikes  :p Go, baby, go! LOL!

Great stuff tishinina !

The animation is superb (especially the butt shaker) :)

And good use of the tools available in 1.23 - i wasnt able to do anything but heads and limbs until now.

Well, it proves my theory that monitor radiation helps brain cells multiply instead of killing them! Very interesting technique!

Is it lowpoly model or is it further divided?

Thanks everyone. He is a very cute baby, and sure knows how to dance. :p To answer Daniel Sandner's question, "No-Wings" is a high-poly model. I had to divide him until I had enough polygons in the claws and feet. It was only divided about twice, I think. Not too bad. Well, I think I'll make a version of "No-Wings" with ZSpheres and compare. Of course, that is when 1.5 is finally in my possession! :)
