Introducing the level-one BOUNCE ZSCRIPT

http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1017625087itu.jpg

This is level-one because at present it performs no higher purpose. But, it can if other code is added around it, perhaps to form a- um- perhaps a game?

Full instructions are inside the script file.

Download Here: Bounce (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_file-1017625088eia.txt)

Please inform me if you have any problems with the script or suggestions for it.

LoL now thats real Cool :tu: :tu:
thats some good scripting you did one heck of a nice job :tu:
may i remamend Diselting the Floating menue.

you should make it were the left side of the screen the ball will fall off and make a 3D cube kind of long and thin and make that a paddle like the old ping pong game and To move the paddle use a Key like hold down your Z key to move the pattle and try and hit the ball off the wall and don't let it get pass you to go off the screen....
great work i love it LOL :D

I gotta tell you, Muvlo, this Script was a real trip to watch...I found myself flying back in time, sitting with a 48 KB computer, watching an algorythm I wrote in basic, doing this!! :D
Thanks for another unique Z-Experience!
:tu: :tu: :tu:

Good points there EZ. I will add in commands to turn off the floating palette, and maybe some other space savers like that as well.
Good idea with the paddle too... I'll have to experiment some with all this! :)

Stonecutter, I'm always amazed that people can write stuff like that in languages like basic or visual basic. It just seems so comlex without the built in tools Z has!
Anyway, glad I could take you back to 48kb day. (Though why you'd want to go there...) ;)

You actually read my mind EZ. :D I've been thinking about how many games are based on bouncing. What I'm working on now is finding a way to make the ball work with surfaces that aren't straight. If I remember my science correctly, it is supposed to bounce off at the same angle it hit.
So I'm going to scratch my head for a while and hope I dig deep enough to find an answer. ;)
